The Canterbury Bankstown Harmony Group event was held at Punchbowl Community Centre last Wednesday night. The Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohammed, was present as well other religious leaders and politicians including Lakemba Uniting Church minister Reverend Graeme Watkins and Watson MP Tony Burke.

Bendigo: War, Faith and Peace
United Religions Initiative, in collaboration with Bendigo Interfaith Council, Bendigo TAFE and Cultural Infusion will deliver a Public Forum on War, Faith and Peace at the Bendigo College of TAFE on Friday, August 26. The Forum will be followed by free conflict resolution training for young people (open for those aged 18-30).

New South Wales: Meeting at Parliament House
Religions for Peace NSW Branch meets regularly at Parliament House in Sydney, hosted by the Hon. Walt Secord. During 2016, the theme of the meetings is the structure of the participant religions. This makes for an engaging dialogue session.
