With the importance of addressing our care of the planet assuming more urgency every day, we thought it worth offering another opportunity in 2019 for anyone who hasn’t experienced the Living the Change workshops to join this international multifaith project to support the sustainability of the Earth.

The workshop Living the Change: faithful choices for a flourishing world will be run on Saturday 23 November 3.00-5.00pm at the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Centre, 51 Risdon Rd., New Town.

Greetings of peace and welcome to spring, season of new beginnings! Our event will be held on SundaySeptember 22, 3 – 5 pm, at the UTAS Multifaith Centre, TUU Building Churchill Ave, Sandy Bay.  Please note the change of date and venue from our original advertising.

Kris Schaffer will welcome us to Country, Councillor Mike Dutta from the City of Hobart Council, originally from Fiji, will share with us the effect Climate Change is having on our Pacific Island neighbours to inspire us in our reflections and Tim Devereux will bring the music of the earth into the gathering via his magical didjeridoo.

You’re invited to join celebrations in every state for Time for Living the Change. Each event will have its own unique flavour but, at each event, people will share some time for spiritual reflection, discuss their efforts to make climate-conserving lifestyle commitments and celebrate with delicious vegetarian and vegan food. Join us to celebrate LIVING THE CHANGE together at the UTAS Multifaith Centre, Sandy Bay on the afternoon of Sunday 14th October 2018 working together towards creating a flourishing world for all. We gather as members of diverse faith communities and those who care for our planet to share our stories of change, transformation, and regeneration. Living the Change is brought to you by Australian Religious Response to Climate Change, Religions for Peace Australia and United Religions Initiative.
