Students of Sustainability is an annual environmental and social justice conference bringing together activists, entrepreneurs, speakers, educators and artists from around Australia for a week of celebration, education, culture, delicious food, networking and camping. SoS is based at a different university campus each year. In 2015, SOS will be held at Flinders University, Adelaide, on Kaurna country from July 8th – 12th.

In September, heads of state are going to New York City for a historic summit on climate change. Many people seek action in order to raise awareness of the spiritual impact of Climate Change on our Mother Earth. There will be people’s Climate Marches in all states in Australia on the weekend of 20 – 21 September.

Plans are advancing for the Interfaith Summit on Climate Change, to be held in New York from 21 to 22 September. A new website featuring interfaith perspectives on climate change, highlighting the upcoming summit, has recently gone online.
WCC announces September Interfaith Summit on Climate Change
The World Council of Churches (WCC) announced it will hold an Interfaith Summit on Climate Change on September 21-22 in New York City. At the summit, organized together with Religions for Peace, more than 30 religious leaders will take a united stand to encourage international and political leaders to address concretely the causes and consequences of climate change.< /p>
