Victoria: Climate Change Community Organising Workshop

arrrc The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) / Greenfaith will conduct a Community organising workshop on Sunday 7 June 2015 at the Multicultural hub, cnr Therry & Elizabeth Sts, near Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne.

Would you like to be able to animate meaningful action in your community to address climate change, but there are various hurdles and blocks? Would you like to meet with others in the ARRCC and other faith-based networks who are interested in making a difference?

ARRCC (which now includes GreenFaith/ARRCC) is offering a half-day workshop in Melbourne. The aim is to have you feeling more empowered, clearer on how to be effective and more connected with other ARRCC members and friends. Thea and Manny will guide the day, part of which will be taking you through the steps used by professional organisers to achieve their chosen goals. There are some basic tips which can be learned so that the work you do actually pays off. These can’t be passed on in a single workshop, but you’ll be left with a clearer idea of what has worked for others.

Facilitators: Thea Ormerod (ARRCC) & Emmanuel (Manny) Pasqualini (Community Power Agency)
