Australian Jesuit Fr Herman Roborgh lived in Pakistan for eight years, before completing a PhD in Islamic Studies at Aligarh Muslim University in India. Recently Fr Herman Roborg attended an interfaith dialogue event in Melbourne and writes a reflection on the importance of recognising the other as the goal of understanding and recognizes the other as the source of new insights.
