The Victorian Government is investing in the safety of Victorian faith communities, with new support to combat antisemitism and Islamophobia to make sure communities feel safe, welcomed and celebrated.
An innovative new program is bringing together students from Melbourne’s Jewish and Islamic communities to build bridges and foster respect and acceptance. The ‘Museums Together’ project is seeing a hundred students from King David School and Sirius College come together to share experiences, culture and knowledge of their respective religions.
The Wyndham Interfaith Network will conduct a Places of Worship Tour on Thursday 13 September 2018 visiting the Islamic Museum of Australia and the Craigieburn Sikh Sabha Gurudwara.
