Within this context, Australian Catholic Universithy will explore the several questions from the perspective of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism in a four part series of lectures commencing on 3 August 2016. Victoria: Memorial Service for Easter Attack in Lahore
A faction of the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for killing at least 70 people in an Easter Sunday attack on a park in the eastern city of Lahore. A memorial service for this event will be conducted at Kooyong on 16 April.

Victoria: Royal Commission Report into Family Violence – Section on Faith Communities
On Tuesday 29 March 2016, Australia’s first Royal Commission into Family Violence tabled its findings with a 1900 page report which includes 227 recommendations. The report includes a ten-page section on ‘Faith Communities’, highlighting the important role faith-based communities and organisations can play in the lives of Victorians affected by family violence.
