Convenor of the NSW Branch of Religions for Peace, Josie Lacey AM, has been honoured in the NSW parliament for her service to the community and to interfaith activities. NSW Labor frontbencher Walt Secord has hosted a special event at State Parliament where he addressed the parliament paying tribute to Jewish communal leader Josie Lacey.

Another constructive and informative meeting of Religions for Peace took place at NSW Parliament House on February 11, 2019. Chaired in her inimitable style by Josie Lacey, historical retrospective by The Ven Gayatripani, discussion of research in to Interfaith dialogue. There was unanimous disgust at swastika graffiti in Sydney on the weekend. Many faiths, one group of friends.
NSW: Meeting at Parliament House
Religions for Peace NSW Branch meet monthly at Parliament House, Sydney. The theme of the meetings for 2017 is ‘structure’ and the meetings focus on structure in a specific religion. The March Meeting focussed on the structure in Shia Islam.
