A Muslim and a Christian will present talks on better understanding one another in Western multicultural societies and on the meeting 800 years ago between the Christian St Francis and Muslim Sultan of Palestine, Syria, and Egypt: al-Malik al-Kamil. The meeting having an impact on both their lives and a legacy that endures even now.

This is 1 of 2 events that will be held on this topic. The first one will be held at Griffith University Multifaith Centre on October 17.

The second one will be held at the University of Queensland Multi-faith Chaplaincy on the 22nd of October 10am-11:30am In this second one we will look at both the Quran and Bible.
