Consulate General of India in Perth in Association with Indian Society of Western Australia is organising free Yoga every Thursday at the Government House. Times are Thursday 4PM – 5PM at Government House, Perth.
We believe the primary role of Government House is to serve the community. In addition to making the House and Grounds more available for public and community use, as Governor, I am a proud patron and advocate for more than 130 community organisations, with whom we work closely in support of their endeavour to provide care and services to our community.
We acknowledge the original custodians of the land of the House, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, and their continuing connection to the land. We pay our respects to all members of Aboriginal communities throughout Western Australia and their cultures; and to Elders past and present.

Yoga in the Grounds: Presented by the Indian Consulate Perth
The Consulate General of India Perth, in partnership with the Indian Society of Western Australia (ISWA), is conducting a free community yoga session in the Government House Gardens this Thursday 20th August from 4 – 5pm.
Take advantage of the nice weather and enjoy the sunshine with today’s yoga session in the grounds.
The session will be followed by 10 minutes of immunity boosting tips by an Ayurveda practitioner.

Notes
- Bring your own yoga mats.
- Use the intercom on the pedestrian gate (Pier Street and St Georges Terrace intersection) to gain access.
- Yoga will take place in the upper lawn of Government House, near the vehicle gates on St Georges Terrace and on the Duxton Hotel side.
- Please adhere to COVID social distancing rules and other COVID safety protocol. No entry will be permitted to people who have travelled overseas after 15th March or who display flu like symptoms.
