Religious leaders from different faith communities were among those invited to County Court of Victoria, the Hon. Peter Kidd and the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre.. Many community leaders were invited to participate in this session, in order that they come to understand the work of the court. County Court of Victoria Chief Judge Peter Kidd welcomed a group of community and support service leaders to the inaugural County Court Community Engagement Day event on 19 October. The Community Engagement Day was delivered in partnership with Victoria University’s Sir Zelman Cowen Centre and was intended to improve justice outcomes and strengthen understanding of the Victorian legal system.
