The Tibetan Buddhist Society takes great pleasure in inviting you to the Buddhist Spring Festival Ceremony for World Peace held in the traditional Tibetan temple, which was blessed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The festival will take place on the weekend of 10-11 November at Yuroke, Melbourne.
Hear leading Buddhist teachers explore how to find peace in this turbulent world – including Ekai Korematsu Osho, Les Sheehy, Traleg Khandro and Martin Horan – with guided meditation in each session.
This vibrant festival offers something for everyone. It is for those exploring meditation, wishing to enjoy the beautiful gardens, visit the market or to learn about the traditional Tibetan temple and the ancient culture of Tibet.
Everyone is welcome to join the main event of the festival, the Ceremony for World Peace on Saturday 10 November at noon.
Meet the remarkable 14-year-old Campbell Remess of Project 365 – at our Ceremony for World Peace at 12 noon Saturday – who will explain how he is changing the world ‘one teddy at a time’. The ceremony is held in the Society’s magnificent traditional Tibetan temple.
The Ceremony for World Peace brings everyone together to join as a community and pray for international peace and harmony.
You can also hear Campbell again at 1 pm on Sunday – when he will present a talk in the temple immediately after the temple tour.
Join our younger students, Hayley Sime and Andrew Christianson, for guided meditation sessions in the temple to start your day. Free entry.

Family rate: $10 for parents and school-age children or younger.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Most people travel by car. the proporty is about 45 minutes north of the CBD, ten minutes from the Tullamarine Freeway turnoff, off Mickleham Road. If you need to catch the train please head for Craigieburn Station. Ring the day before or earlier to book a lift from the station to the centre – 9333 1770.
