From 10-21 March 2025, delegates from UN Member States, civil society, and other stakeholders will convene at the United Nations headquarters in New York for the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69). From 10-14 February 2025, delegates from UN Member States, civil society, and other stakeholders will convene at the United Nations headquarters in New York for the 63rd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD63). This conference provides a platform for parties to come together to discuss recommendations and policies to advance social development at both the national and global levels. A priority theme of this session will be strengthening solidarity, social inclusion and social cohesion.
68th Session on the Commission on the Status of Women
The 68th Session on the Commission on the Status of Women – an event auspiced by the United Nations – will focus on accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective. From 5-14 February 2024, delegates from UN Member States, civil society, and other stakeholders will convene at the United Nations headquarters in New York for the 62nd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD62). UN 2023 Water Conference
From 22-24 March 2023, United Nations Member States, civil society, and other stakeholders will gather in New York for the UN 2023 Water Conference, to unite the world for water. The primary goal of the Conference is to raise awareness of the global water crisis and commit to joint action to achieve the internationally agreed water-related goals and targets, such as Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG6: Clean Water and Sanitation) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
