Pax Christi Victoria has convened a coalition of peace Groups including ICAN, the Medical Association for the Prevention of War , the Society of Friends and several others to initiate a campaign. ICAN’s Nobel Prize will be exhibited on the evening.

National: Making Waves with Peace Boat
The Peace Boat is on its way to Australia. The Making Waves speaking tour will feature second-generation nuclear test survivor Karina Lester, ICAN Ambassador Scott Ludlam, hibakusha from Hiroshima and Nagasaki and former dairy farmers from Fukushima, all travelling aboard the floating international peace village. Australia: Faith groups seek nuclear weapons ban
Australia’s Religious have joined other faith and community organisations in supporting an open letter to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, calling for the Australian Government to sign a treaty to ban nuclear weapons.
