Queensland: Australians Sharing a New Story

Initiatives of Change logoInitiatives of Change will revisit the Community Trust Building Dialogue event – for the power of personal story-sharing was valued so this time the emphasis will be on small group story sharing. This will take place at the Griffith University Center for Intercultural and Interfaith Dialogue, Nathan Campus, on 14 December 2019 at 3pm.

This message is a reminder that we are continuing the story-sharing we experienced, so well-demonstrated by our speakers on 31st August at the Community Trustbuilding dialogue – see more here:  https://au.iofc.org/community-trust-building-dialogue-brisbane.

This time we will have a different format / structure with an emphasis on small group story sharing to give everyone the opportunity.  So please join us and help us to develop this potential for further community trustbuilding across our great diversity.  We can only benefit by these kinds of events.

All welcome (and please send to your networks) on 14 December, 3pm, at the Interfaith & Cultural Dialogue Centre, Griffith University – slightly revised flier attached – RSVP:  7 December.

Purpose of the event which is to continue towards community trustbuilding:

– Strengthening our capacity to address the truth of our past and present
– Learning to walk together with integrity to a future where peace and healing are our gifts to the world
– Celebrating together where we all come from, towards a place where everyone is free to be and give their best.

What will happen? From the last event, the power of personal story-sharing was valued so this time the emphasis will be on small group story sharing to give everyone the opportunity.
