Victoria: The Spirituality of Unity in End of Life Care

New Humanity logoNew Humanity (focolare) will present a Health Symposium on The Spirituality of Unity in End of Life Care at the Australian Catholic University – Mercy Lecture Theatre, Fitzroy, on Sunday 24 November 2019 – 1pm – 5pm.

Spirituality is a fundamental element to the human experience of health and healing, illness and dying. Spiritual care is an essential component of palliative and end-of-life care provision and is the responsibility of all staff and carers involved in the care of patients and families.

In many religions the end-of-life experience is important, and represents the passing from the physical world to beyond. The endeavour to provide a peaceful death is one that is ubiquitously important to all religious communities.
