Merton Retreat – Compassion to Oneself and Others

Thomas Merton OCSO

The 2011 Thomas Merton Annual Retreat will be held at the Janssen Spirituality Centre in Boronia, Victoria on the weekend of 18 – 20 November 2011.

The retreat is is called Thomas Merton – Compassion to Oneself and Others, which is based on his book Love and Living. Like St Francis spoke of ‘Lady Poverty’, Merton spoke of ‘Lady Compassion’ as the virtue for transformative union with the Divine.
