On September 12, the Centre for Dialogue at Latrobe University will have four renowned Swamis will be speaking on the topic of The Contemporary Global Crisis: The Shift Towards Human Wealth. A panel of Swamis discus the human aspect of the Global Financial Crisis as an issue of attitude rather than of economics.
As the world continues to face significant fiscal challenges and the stability of Western Economics begins to shake, management gurus worldwide have begun to reassess and turn their back on the failures of a Western system.
Utilizing the ancient wisdom of Bhagavad Gita and the Artha Shastra, ‘The Contemporary Global Crisis: A Shift towards Human Wealth’ seeks to discuss the human aspect of the Global Financial Crisis as an issue of attitude rather than economics.
The panel will discuss the role of cultured individuals as defining actors of a society rather than individuals created by their society and how changing attitudes may be utilized as a means of transcending the limitations of self-identity and realize one’s unity with Brahman (God).
Chaired by Centre for Dialogue Director, Prof Alberto Gomes, the panel includes:
Swami Sridharananda
Swami Tyagananda
Swami Baneshananda
Swami Sarvapriyananda
