The Australian Association for Religious Education will conduct a Q and A session on Faith Perspectives in Today’s World: A Multi-Faith Discussion

AARE(Vic) has assembled a highly credentialed panel representing each of the monotheistic faiths. In a Q & A style format facilitated by Julie Perrin (Director of Telling Words) panelists will share perspectives shaped by their faith and life experience on a range of challenging questions. Questions from the floor will also be encouraged. This is a not to be missed opportunity for teachers, Chaplains and others interested in Religious Education.

Panelists will be

  • HELEN SUMMERS:
    Founder of the Interfaith Centre in Melbourne
  • GERSH LAZAROW:
    Rabbi of the King David School in Melbourne
  • JANET MUNRO:
    Chaplain, RE teacher at Methodist Ladies’ College
  • ADEL SALMAN:
    Respected leader within the Australian Muslim community
  • BELINDA BUCHANAN:
    Coordinator of Year 10 and RE Team Leader at Methodist Ladies’ College
