Victoria: The Gandhi Experiment

Initatives of Change, Melbourne, will host Margaret Hepworth and the book launch of The Gandhi Experiment: Teaching our teenagers how to become global citizens at Armagh, 226 Kooyong Road, Toorak on the evening of Wednesday, August 9th, 2017.

The Gandhi Experiment specialises in peace and values education and global citizenship. Our vision is world peace through education.

Our student conferences, teacher workshops and parent seminars have been highly successful in implementing change.

We empower teenagers to create better lives for themselves and others by teaching them the tools and strategies for non-violence, inclusion and altruism.

We help parents of teens solve issues and build more harmonious homes through parent seminars and one-to-one conversations, teaching effective strategies and techniques.

We are proud to be part of the growing global movement for non-violence.

Author / Educator Margaret Hepworth is an expert in teenage motivations & behaviours; a thought leader in peace education; the founder of The Gandhi Experiment; an English and Humanities teacher of 30 years; recipient of the 2016 Sir John Monash Award for Inspirational Women’s Leadership; creator of Collaborative Debating.
