World Interfaith Harmony Week 2017: Darebin Interfaith Council



The City of Darebin and Darebin Interfaith Council invite you to their Darebin World Interfaith Harmony Week Celebration 2017 on Thursday 9 February 2017. The Guest Speaker is the Reverend Ian Smith, Executive Officer of Victorian Council of Churches. This event is in observance of United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week 2017


 

The City of Darebin and Darebin Interfaith Council invite you to their Darebin World Interfaith Harmony Week Celebration 2017 celebrations at the Darebin Intercultural Centre on Thursday, 9 February.

The Guest Speaker will be the Reverend Ian Smith, Executive Officer of Victorian Council of Churches. Rev. Smith with be speaking on Faith and Social Inclusion.

About the Speaker: Reverend Ian Smith, Executive Officer of the Victorian Council of Churches, will offer a keynote presentation on the theme ‘Faith and Inclusion’ and discuss some of the outcomes from the 2016 Victorian Interfaith Networks Conference held last November at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre.

The City of Darebin’s Mayor Councillor Kim Le Cerf will also deliver a speech.

Following the presentations, there will be music, lunch and an opportunity to mingle with the interfaith community.
