Living Waters – Run-off, Rivers and Reefs

A Multi-Faith event for all people interested in the well-being of our inland and coastal waterways and our role in caring for them now and into the future

It is obvious that human beings are not living on Earth our Common Home in the right way and that we humans need to restore good relationships with ecological systems for the survival of all.

This event is unique in that it brings together knowledgeable scientific people and people from different faiths or none. It will explore the connections between our inland and coastal waterways, the effects of run-off on our rivers and coastline, the role of human agency in these and what faith communities can contribute to bringing about the necessary change in attitudes. Come along to participate in

  • Rituals in a local wetland setting
  • Presentations by Marine Scientists
  • Exchange between Faith and Ecology
  • Table talk to share, listen and learn
