You are invited to submit expression of interest to join ICV’s Committee for Climate Change and Sustainability education. The committee will develop an action plan to initiate a climate change and energy sustainability knowledge campaign among the Muslim community of Australia to empower them with the required knowledge and skill set to be able to:
- 1) understand their role and stake in supporting the global and local effort in tackling the CC challenge
- 2) help influence policy by adding their voice to the ongoing conversations on the subject among citizens and policy makers
- 3) become actively engaged in sustainability related efforts here in Australia and elsewhere
