Invite your friends and family to walk with us along the picturesque Coogee coastline in a practical demonstration of unity among difference.
This year will be the first walk of this kind in NSW – so come along and make history!
Join us on Sunday, 21 October 2012 in a celebration of a united Australia!
The walk is only one kilometre, so people of all ages and abilities can participate. If you can’t make it the whole way, don’t worry – Harmony Walk is about demonstrating your support a harmonious society.

About
The Harmony Walk is a project of the Moving Forward Together Association, designed to promote a harmonious Australia.
The Patron of the Harmony Walk is the Governor of NSW, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO.
Participants will walk the length of Sydney’s Coogee Beach, before assembling at the beach plaza for entertainment and practical advice from community leaders about creating a more cohesive society.
At the end of the walk, there will be speeches, live entertainment and positive affirmations for all to take home.
Working with the Moving Forward Together Association to bring you Harmony Walk 2012 are the NSW Community Relations Commission, NSW Ethnic Communities Council, Together for Humanity, and the Australian Bahai Community. It is also supported by the SBS Foundation which will broadcast community service announcements on SBS Television.
