Faith 2 Faith Art in Public Spaces Exhibition March 2013 is an event that exhibits the artwork of professional and non-professional artists who live, study, work or play in the municipalities of Brimbank.

The theme Faith 2 Faith will include artworks that express the features, benefits and challenges of interfaith dialogue. Interfaith dialogue is the interaction and communication between diverse religious/ spiritual groups and diverse cultural groups. The aim of Faith 2 Faith Art in Public Spaces Exhibition March 2013 is to encourage people to address racism and intolerance through the understanding and acceptance of diverse values and beliefs.

Artists may submit work that addresses these themes in the form of visual media which may include painting, drawing, print making, sculpture, photography, text, sound and/or video art to be displayed in Sunshine Art Spaces Gallery and The Granary Café over March 2013 (inclusive of Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Day).

In addition to the Gallery Exhibition thirty individual artworks will be selected for printing on to A1 posters to be displayed in public spaces in Sunshine, St Albans and Watergardens in March. Artists selected will be required to submit their work for professional photography before Wednesday 28 November 2012.

Artists will not be paid to create work but will have the opportunity to sell their works included in the exhibitions.

An Information Session will be held on Thursday 6 September 2012 from 5:30-6:30pm At Sunshine Library Harvester Meeting Room 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine. Call 9249 4032 to register interest or attend on the evening.
