Victoria: Stand Together, Safe and Equal: Interfaith Webinar

Darebin- Hume The Darebin Interfaith Council and the Hume Interfaith Network join to present an online webinar on the importance of gender equality in promoting healthy relationships and safety for women, online, on Thursday, 3 December 2020.


Join members of the Darebin Interfaith Council and Hume Interfaith Network at this FREE webinar to raise awareness about the importance of gender equity in promoting healthy relationships and safety for women and children in faith communities. You will hear from people with a range of experiences in this field:

  • Anu Krishnan, a specialist family violence practitioner with a focus on building awareness, leadership and knowledge within multicultural communities to reduce violence and inequality.
  • Linda Yang, a counsellor and a member of the Preston Mosque Family Violence Working Group. Linda is an educator who specialises in the field of family and domestic violence and contributes to team training.
  • Inspector Tom Ebinger, Victoria Police – Darebin Local Area Commander.

There will be opportunity for questions and discussion after the panel of speakers. Registration is encouraged.
