About the speaker:
Rachael Kohn produces and presents The Spirit of Things on ABC Radio National which she began in 1997. She has interviewed most of the well-known religious leaders of the world and addressed some of the most difficult and also inspiring subjects in the field of religion and spirituality. She has a doctorate in Religious Studies, an Honorary Doctor of Letters from the University of NSW, and has received many awards for her programs, features and films. She’s written two books on religion and authored many chapters and hundreds of articles on religious subjects. She is the Vice President of the International Association of Religion Journalists.
Rachael will of course allude to Nostra Aetate but she will give an overview of the key issues and historical currents that are testing Christian-Jewish relations ‘in our time’ and how time can both nurture and erode a relationship, and how timeliness also tests a relationship.
