Anti-Slavery Australia and the Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN) invite you to attend the Forced Marriage Interfaith Forum, hosted by the Hon Gladys Berejiklian MP in recognition of International Women’s Day.
Guest speaker: Dr Eman Sharobeem, Director of the Immigrant Women’s Health Service, will share her insights and professional experience.
Associate Professor Jennifer Burn, UTS Faculty of Law, Director of Anti-Slavery Australia, will highlight research about forced marriage in Australia and discuss challenges raised by new legislation criminalising forced marriage.
