Sea of Faith in Australia (SoFiA) is holding its annual 2012 conference at Twin Towns Resort, Coolangatta, Gold Coast, Friday (evening) 31 August to Sunday 2 September 2012.

Focus of the conference is our Common Humanity, exploring implications of religion, faith and meaning for our shared existence, andthe new consciousness shaping 21st century spirituality for humanity.

An impressive line-up of presenters, panel and workshop leaders includes community spiritual development specialist Adrian Pyle; television journalist, religion documentary maker and author Peter Kirkwood; public ethicist and theologian Dr Noel Preston AM; representatives of Together for Humanity; feminist Muslim human rights advocate Nora Amath; and representatives of Islamic ‘sufi’, Jewish, Open Zen Buddhist, Christian and Humanist viewpoints.
