The Islamic Society of South Australia and the wider Muslim community are providing the inaugural Al Salam (Peace) Festival on Sunday, 26 April 2015. There will be rides, food, entertainment, and an open forum for the community to embrace all faiths. Scholars will answer any questions people have about Islam.

Event organiser Sowaibah Hanifie said that “as Muslims, we need to be addressing stereotypes. We can’t really blame people for not knowing if we are not out there communicating with them.”
