ABC TV launches a new series starting with Deepavali theme called The Unlisted which will be screening daily from 15 September at 5.30pm on ABC Me and ABC iview. A thriller, featuring youth and multicultural themes.


Plot:

Dru Sharma avoids a mandatory dental check-up at school by persuading his twin brother Kal to go in his place. Later, when the twins are celebrating Diwali with their family, they begin to notice Kal’s strange new abilities. Could they be linked to a warning from their classmate Tim, who has now disappeared? Following this warning the twins discover that the world’s wealthiest individuals have formed a consortium named Infinity Group, which is working to impose global control over the world’s youth. Using high-tech electronic implants and a charitable front called the Global Child Initiative, Infinity Group plans to create an army of young soldiers who can be manipulated to obey any order.

Dru and Kal, with the help of a group of underground vigilante kids – The Unlisted – will need to stop Infinity Group before it’s too late. The Unlisted is a high action thriller that was filmed in locations across Sydney. The series is an Aquarius Films production in association with Buster Productions for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Produced by Polly Staniford and Angie Fielder.
