You are warmly invited to the South Australian launch of NEEN in Cathedral Hall at St Xavier’s, 39 Wakefield Street, Adelaide 9am to 1.30pm on Thursday 5 June 2014, World Environment Day. Join community leaders and change agents for an energy efficiency seminar, community workshop and a networking lunch.
National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN)
The purpose of NEEN is to enable faith-based & not-for-profit community organisations to respond to the demands of a changing energy landscape by providing them with the opportunity to connect, share information and collaborate on initiatives that reduce energy consumption, energy expenditure and carbon emissions.
To support this outcome, Catholic Earthcare Australia, along with key partners, has secured funding from the Commonwealth Department of Industry, allowing members free access to specialist energy efficiency information, energy savings calculators, member events & communities of learning & practice (NEEN+ Communities).
Whether you are on your sustainability goals, you’re welcome to join NEEN and the NEEN+ Communities in using less to save more.
NEEN is providing eligible organisations with free access to:
- Energy efficiency information relevant to the broader needs of the not-for-profit sector and tailored to unique industry profiles
- Audit tools and resources that inform and support change at an operational level
- A community of peers with whom you can share questions, strategies and outcomes or collaborate on energy efficiency projects
- NEEN+ energy efficiency community events
The NEEN Network is targeted at small to medium sized community organisations. The network is coordinated by Catholic Earthcare Australia and received funding as part the Commonwealth Department of Industry’s, Energy Efficiency Information Grants program.
