The Australian Human Rights Commission has launched a new website to provide a more modern platform for the web audience.

The Commission has launched a new website to provide a more modern platform for the web audience.

The site has a lot of features that weren’t available previously.  It’s now mobile and tablet friendly and more geared to social media.

It’s also more interactive, with places to comment such as on the news stories on the home page.

Accessibility has been greatly improved, with a range of enhancements such as better contrast for the visually impaired.

There will be more video content across the site, and a new video section in news.

All of our publications are also now in the one place.

The new website uses a content management system, which will help us update content more quickly.

As part of the changes, we’ll be using Mailchimp to send out emails to people subscribing to our e-lists

Mailchimp is a modern web based platform, which will help us ensure a better email service.

We hope that you like the new website.  Please send any comments and feedback to webfeedback@humanrights.gov.au or just post them below.
