White Ribbon Australia is celebrating the 10th anniversary of driving the largest male-led national campaign to end violence against women.

In recognition of this milestone, White Ribbon Australia is proudly hosting its first international conference featuring key researchers, practitioners, policy makers and activists, from both national and international settings, to showcase research, policies and programs that work to change men’s attitudes and behaviours that perpetuate violence.

The conference will:

  • Highlight the importance of using new social policy initiatives and campaigns to prevent men’s violence against women;
  • Encourage dialogue between policy makers, government advisers, practitioners, academics and interested others on primary prevention strategies to eliminate violence against women.

The conference is relevant to: researchers, academics, policy makers, service providers, researchers, mental health, community health, social and community services, Aboriginal controlled services, migrant and refugee services, legal services, universities, disability services, allied health care, public health, educators, local councils, Local Health Districts, Medicare Locals, Government, non-government and private sectors, volunteers and students.
