Baha’i Prayer Event - To Build a Better CommunityThe local Baha’i community of Parramatta is inviting leaders of the various faiths, community groups and organisations in Parramatta to a multifaith prayer gathering on 29 August 2024. The theme is “To Build a Better Community” and it is focused on reaching out to build bonds of fellowship and friendship between the diverse local communities in the area.


The local Baha’i community of Parramatta is inviting leaders of the various faiths, community groups and organisations in Parramatta to a multifaith prayer gathering on 29 August 2024. The theme is “To Build a Better Community” and it is focused on reaching out to build bonds of fellowship and friendship between the diverse local communities in the area. They have invited the Federal MP, State MP and Mayor as the elected leaders of the community.

The event will be opened by a short introduction from Natalie Mobini, the National Secretary of the Australian Baha’i community, followed by readings of prayers or scriptures around the theme from diverse faiths. These readings will be will be projected on a screen and there will also be some music following the readings. This will be followed by light refreshments to allow the participants to spend some time socialising together. Details of the event can be found below.
