Religions for Peace Secretary General – William F. Vendley – gives an Easter message for the observances of Easter.
24 March 2016
Dear Beloved Christian Colleague in Religions for Peace:
Your sisters and brothers in Religions for Peace join me in extending heartfelt greetings as the central Mystery of the Christian faith is being celebrated globally.
Christians around the world center their faith on the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus the Christ.
In God’s Saving Love offered in Christ, Christians recognize that Peace is both God’s gift of Grace to the human family and also its true task. Your commitment to work through your Christian faith for the fruits of God’s Holy Peace — justice, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, reconciliation and love — is appreciated.
May this Easter season nourish your faith and renew your hope for the Peace that passes all understanding.
Yours in Peace,
Dr. William F. Vendley
