You are most warmly invited to the Interfaith Matters Forum for October.

Tuesday 24 October 2023, from 5.45 (for 6pm) till 8.30’sh

at the Unitarian Church, 99 Osmond Terrace, Norwood.

Some parking is available in the church grounds; plus, there is street parking in the designated parking places on nearby streets.

The focus of our October Interfaith Matters Forum is:

Ancient wisdom for modern times – exploring how the ancient practice of Yoga can help us to let go of that which is not supportive, to let go of the things that are holding us back….”

Our September forum on “The Voice” was a deep and sacred time of sharing about letting go of politics, and contemplating our shared humanitarian and spiritual values. Before that, in August, we explored death as the great letting go. So, now, after many months of high emotions and high hopes, it may be good to re-focus our energy on ‘what may we practice when we want to let go?’

Janet Coutts, yoga practitioner with many years of study and experience, will lead us through how the reflection-work of an ancient practice may facilitate a point of new arrival.

Please join us for an evening of stories and interactive sharing to explore how we can let go of that which no longer serves us in order to make space for the quiet voice within.

A shared meal will complement our evening of conversation and explorations of this topic. Meal costs are $15- $20 cash; and a gold coin donation towards our venue will be appreciated.

To let us know you are coming, please RSVP to Denise Martin (denise.martin@outlook.com or 0402 211580) by Sunday, 22 October to assist with meal-planning. Please include all dietary requirements in your RSVP.

You are welcome to invite a friend.

Helpers to assist in setting up, and clearing up afterwards are MUCH appreciated 🙏 Please indicate your availability to help when you RSVP.

We look forward to welcoming you to this, our October Interfaith Matters Forum.
