Following the advice of the resident Aunty of Religions for Peace Tasmania Branch, Aunty Kris Schaffer, and the First Nations advisers of Religions for Peace Australia, Senator Patrick Dodson and Prof Anne Pattel-Gray,

RfPTas is supporting the Uluru Statement of the Heart, together with the Voice, Treaty and Truth-telling. We recognise this referendum as an opportunity to put right some of the unspeakable wrongs of the past, which have been allowed to continue into the present, but with our support of the YES vote, perhaps will not be allowed to be part of Australia’s future. We support walking together in peace, guided by our First Nations leaders.
