South Australia: Interfaith considers how we form belief

Pilgrim Church AdelaidePilgrim Uniting Church will host an interfaith forum at 6 pm, Wednesday evening 25 May on the topic of how belief is formed.

Interfaith Forum: Meeting across culture Matters as we wonder about belief-formation
Topic: What is belief? Is forming a belief based on context, culture, history, family or the individual experience?

Presenter: Paul Turley
To reflect upon: Paul notes this: “At our Interfaith Gatherings we talk a lot about what we believe and don’t believe. We talk about the beliefs and creeds of different faiths and we seek to understand something of what these faiths believe and what they means. But what is belief? What does it mean to believe something? What do we mean when we say ‘I believe’ or ‘I don’t believe’?
