This coming Friday (28 January), many of Australia’s religious leaders will come together to launch #SetThemFree, a campaign calling on Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese to work together to release refugees and asylum seekers currently in detention.

You are warmly invited to attend this campaign launch at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 28 January 2022.

At this event you will hear from Reverend Tim Costello, and view for the first time, #SetThemFree, a short film from acclaimed director Richard Keddie (Ride Like a Girl, Oddball, Little Fish).

The #SetThemFree campaign is a multi-faith initiative supported by many faith leaders from across Victoria with Rev Tim Costello as its spokesperson.

The Brotherhood of St Laurence strongly endorses the call to release the refugees and asylum seekers being held in detention and proudly supports the launch of the #SetThemFree campaign through its media co-ordination role.
