South Australia: Interfaith Matters July 2021

You are invited to Interfaith Matters at Hope’s Cafe (243 The Parade, Beulah Park) on 28 July 5.45 for 6 pm – 8 / 8.30. The theme of this forum is the spiritual process within Ramadan and an overview of Islamic faith practices.

Professor Abdalla is recognised as a leader whose work has had positive social impact. This is clearly demonstrated in his leadership role after 9/11 where he led a reconciliation strategy to build bridges of understanding between the Australian Muslim and wider communities. He has attained numerous civic awards, including: The Lord Mayor Australia Day Achievement Award; Community Leadership Award; Ambassador for Peace Award; and Pride of Australia Medal (Finalist)

Date: Wednesday evening 5.45 for 6 pm
Venue Hope’s café, 243 The Parade, Beulah Park
A meal: halal, vegetarian and gluten-free to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, cooked by our beloved Kurdish chef Gulala.
Cost: $10 – $15 to the chef, and a gold coin donation to recognise the hospitality at Hopes will be appreciated.
