Finding Solace in Solitude: Meditation for Lockdown

Finding Solace in Solitude: Meditation for LockdownAre you struggling with Victoria’s 4th lockdown or just want more emotional balance in your life? Join us to learn how Buddhist meditation might help.In response to Victoria’s 4th lockdown, The Contemplative Studies Centre welcomes the community and all interested parties to join Dr Nicholas Van Dam in conversation with Venerable Ajahn Brahmali.

Learn how Buddhist monastics approach solitude and develop emotional balance, have a chance to practice meditation, and ask questions of Ajahn Brahamali and/or the Director of the Contemplative Studies Centre, Dr Nicholas Van Dam.

We hope you can join us for this special event organised especially for those making their way through lockdown.

Generosity is a cornerstone of Buddhist practice. Teachers receive financial support solely by voluntary donations (dana). Please consider repaying the generosity of Ajahn Brahmali, who agreed to this event on short notice. There is no correct sum to give. The amount depends upon your ability to give and your own sense of gratitude. If you feel inspired to give, you can do so via the Buddhist Society of Western Australia.
