2020 Social Cohesion and Inclusion National ConferenceThe Australian Baha’i Community presents the 2020 Social Cohesion and Inclusion National Conference online, from Monday 16th Nov 2020 to Friday 20th Nov 2020, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm AEDT, daily.


The Australian Baha’i Community warmly invites representatives of NGOs, religious and cultural communities, the media, academia, gender equality organisations, youth networks, think tanks, institutions and government to attend the 2020 Social Cohesion and Inclusion Conference held online, with 90 minute sessions each day. Registration will allow access to all sessions.

Keynote Speakers Include:

  • Her Excellency the Hon. Margaret Beazley AC QC – Governor of New South Wales
  • Dr Anne Aly MP – Member of the House of Representative
  • Rev. Tim Costello – Chair of the Community Council of Australia
  • Dr Brian Adams – Director of the Centre for Interfaith and Cultural Dialogue, Griffith University

The conference will explore the settings, approaches, methods and experiences that will guide our country to forge a socially cohesive and inclusive country into the future. Those who are deeply thinking about the progress of our country are encouraged to come together to reflect on action, lessons learnt, deliberate, and share ideas.

Presenters will share insights from which all can benefit to shape further action and refine current endeavours. Breakout sessions will enable participants to learn from each other’s experience and ideas.

We will officially launch the ‘Creating an Inclusive Narrative’ publication, which is the culmination of nationwide roundtable consultations held over the past year. You can purchase a hard copy of this publication at the checkout.
