Join us to celebrate LIVING THE CHANGE together at the Multicultural Hub, Melbourne, on Sunday 14th October 2018 where we will be working together towards creating a flourishing world for all. We gather as members of diverse faith communities and those who care for our planet to share our stories of change, transformation, and regeneration. Living the Change is brought to you by Australian Religious Response to Climate Change, Religions for Peace Australia and United Religions Initiative.
The Adelaide Living the Change event is part of a series of national celebrations of Living the Change and will take place on Sunday 7 October 2018. The events offer an opportunity for us to examine what changes we can make as a community and in our individual lives in the areas of transport, diet and energy; and to share our what inspires us and what we struggle with. How can we reduce our carbon footprint together?

The nurturing and respect for Life is a central doctrine of all faiths on Earth. Yet today we are endangering life on Earth with unacceptably high and rising levels of greenhouse gas emissions. These gases are destabilizing the global climate system, heating the Earth, acidifying the oceans, and putting both humanity and all living creatures at unacceptable risk.
The Australian chapter of a new and ambitious global campaign, “Living the Change, was launched on May 3 at a national gathering of the multi-faith Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC). With a byline, “faithful choices for a flourishing world”, this is a fresh faith-led initiative which aims to champion the role of more sustainable lifestyles in protecting the earth from global warming.
