Stockholm+50 will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the watershed UN Conference on the Human Environment, which took place in Stockholm in June 1972. Addressing intergenerational responsibility, implementation opportunities, and recognizing the interconnectivity among all relevant stakeholders and policy issues, this high-level meeting follows months of consultations and discussions with individuals, communities, organizations, and governments around the world, with a special focus on youth participation.

SDG – Draft Global Biodiversity Framework Published
The draft framework presents five long-term goals for 2050 related to the CBD’s 2050 Vision for Biodiversity, and each of these goals has an associated outcome for 2030. The draft framework also includes 20 action-oriented targets for 2030.
