Young people of faith invited to become broadcasters

Unscriptured

SYN’s multifaith radio program Unscriptured is looking for more young people to join its team in 2013.

On air since October 2012, Unscriptured has been a collaboration between multifaith youth-run organisation InterAction and SYN Media made possible by support from the Office for Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship.

Broadcast each Saturday, the program explores religion, faith and what it means to young people. The presenters are a diverse mix of Muslim, Catholic, Christian, Protestant and Atheist folks.

Unscriptured’s final show for the year will broadcast this Saturday 22nd December, 11am-1pm on 90.7FM, Digital Radio and streaming online at syn.org.au.

Members of the Unscriptured team have enjoyed their experience so far and are keen to welcome more young people to join them when she show returns to air in 2013.

Interested young people aged 12 – 25 are invited to come along to an information session on Wednesday 16 January from 4pm at SYN. To register, email access@syn.org.au.

SYN is a media organisation run by a community of young people that provides training and broadcast opportunities for young Australians.
