Dear Esteemed Colleague: Warm greetings.

You would be pleased to know that Religions for Peace (RfP) is mounting a global multi-religious campaign-Faiths for Earth-on the urgent need for all of us to address climate change.

The campaign will mobilize religious believers and men and women of goodwill around the world to take concrete actions, based on their own faith and moral traditions, to protect our earth.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu-formerly the head of RfP South Africa during the apartheid era-is helping to lead the campaign in collaboration with senior religious leaders in Religions for Peace.

In order to reach the widest global audience, RfP is working with Here Now and Change.org, the world’s largest petition platform, with 65 million users and campaign offices in more than 20 countries. In the initial stage of the campaign, I am pleased to share that already we are seeing highly encouraging results.

Kindly anticipate that I will be turning to you in the coming days to request your support in becoming a co-leader and a co-animator of our campaign.

In Partnership in Peace, I remain
