Victoria: Indigenous Culture and Connection to Country

Benevolence Australia, a Muslim based spiritual exploration association where Muslims feel a sense of community and acceptance, will conduct an exlporation on Indigenous Culture & Connection to Country at Benevolence House, Doncaster East on Sunday July 26.

Benevolence Australia warmly invite you to join us for a discussion around indigenous culture and the significance of connection to country. This discussion has been prompted through recent support from both the Federal and Western Australian governments to the proposed closure of small, remote Aboriginal communities. This discussion not only affects indigenous people but all members of our community from a social justice and humanitarian point of view.

Our speakers will aim to offer insight into this issue, providing their input and perspective in relation to media and social media coverage as well as public displays or organised demonstrations held. After the discussion, we also invite you to join us for refreshments and continued conversation.

Speakers: Eugenia Flynn and Andrew Gardiner
