Each year, the King of Jordan on behalf of UN World Interfaith Harmony Week allocates prizes to the most effective event for World Interfaith Harmony Week, the first week of February, every year. This year, for 2018, the Interfaith Centre of Melbourne has won the First Prize.

The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia will conduct a Women’s Interfaith Model Passover Seder at the Eva Besen Centre, Caulfield North on Wednesday, 21 March. This is a women-only event, an interfaith event and has been a fully booked out program when it has been provided in the past.

White Night Melbourne: 21 Taras Thangka Exhibition
The Tara Institute’s 21 Taras thangka will be displayed at Melbourne’s White Night arts festival, throughout the night from 7pm to 7am on Saturday, 17 February 2018. There will be meditations and Tara mantra recitations running throughout the event. Offerings of flowers and incense are welcome.

The United Nations General Assembly has designated 27 January as Holocaust Remembrance Day. 27 January 1945 was the day Auschwitz was liberated. There will be a Commemoration at the Glen Eira Town Hall, Caulfield, on the evening of Sunday, 28 January.
